Personal opinions? It's a beauty of a set. I've always wanted a Helicarrier. But it's an expensive beauty of a set, and while I was hoping the microdoll interior would help drop the price instead of a regular-scale one, it's still $400 CAD. That's pricey. Most of the figs aren't even exclusives. Hawkeye and Black Widow both appear as is in the AoU sets, as does Cap but with a different head. I was pretty excited when I thought he was in his Winter Soldier get-up, but he's not. Orthanc was a must-buy, but this is essentially double the price without as much to offer. I'm hesitant.

Wow. Very cool, LEGO. Razz

I love the... "microfigures"? Huh. I love the idea of putting it at the smaller scale like that, as well as that they included the minifigs as well. Kind of a neat idea- building a huge model closely accurate to the real thing, then you could add the minifig-scale stuff in as well to switch between them, thus getting both big and detailed in a practical way.

Having said that... yeah, that's still expensive. Razz It's an appropriate price for such a huge model, buuuut it's still not very affordable. Razz

And anyway, this one's cooler. Razz http://nerdapproved.com/approved-products/this-22000-piece-lego-helicarrier-means-business/

...As to Crax's question, those are the LEGO Boards Games micro-'figs, aren't they?

I saw this on LEGO Ideas a while back. Razz

I NEED THE CAPTAIN AMERICA MINIFIG.

@ ariklego

Yeah, that thing is massive. Pretty sure that that was the original submission to LEGO Ideas before they asked him to downsize it.

Yeah, a minifig-sized Helicarrier would be ridiculous. Even this already at $350 USD. That's a pretty pricey set.

Bone: The Cap minifig will be out in a standard set with the AoU wave, though with a helmeted head instead of this one.

That's A LOT of dough, even for a set of its size. As an 'investor' I wonder how the secondary market will react to this?
