So I haven't posted any drawings in a long time so I decided to slap one on here that I've done recently.

Here's a picture of battling horses that I drew. For some reason the sky didn't show up very good.

Great job, Mouse!  I just LOVE the way you draw their manes and forelocks!  They are so dramatic and wild-looking!  Nice detail on the hair on the front legs, too, btw. I also like the varying colours in the grassy hills, because that's realistic.
I'm no expert at drawing horses (period) but I think you've got the overall body structure down.  I would suggest adding some hints of muscle tone, to make them more life-like and also more 3D. Very Happy

Well, here's a couple examples of the way Kayla shows some muscle tone:

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

Notice the way she uses lines to indicate muscle outlines?

Also, a light shadowing technique is a great way to show muscle tone.  It takes a bit of practice, but hte more you do it and the more you study pics of real horses, the easier it will be. Very Happy
Here's an example of Shadowfax from LOTR, just to give an idea of shadowing (or shading) on his muscles.  You can see it especially on his legs and chest:

I love that purple!  You did a great job on the perspective with the water, and I like the way you coloured the water in; you accounted for the reflection of light. Very Happy

Wow, LOVE the fighting horses! I really love the buckskin! EM, MANLY MAN OF MAN Great job ! ANd the scenery is really cool!

Love the horse  and backround, one thing if I might sugjest, maybe try and next time make the legs just a little longer? Maybe make the  knee/hock to hoof bout the langth of the horses head Wink .
Btw, love the color you used on the horse EM, MANLY MAN OF MAN

Fluffyness? I think, that, instead of using short strokes of the pencil on the fur, maybe do longer strokes?

Love this newest horse drawing!  I HEART that colour of horse!   Love the swish of the mane and tale! I can see some shading in there, too--good improvement!  And good job on that background!
I'd second Kayla's longer legs suggestion. Wink

LOVE that Huskey!  You did a great job!  Nice nose, too--the noses are hard for me. As far as fluffiness, IDK, I think you did a good job making him fluffy for the most part.  IDK what to suggest... Wink

noooooo its a background xD Good job on both of them...if only i wasn't too lazy to attempt realism...

As for fluffy fur...I have no idea unless you wanna make it look like a cartoon. Razz

WOW!!!!  The detail is amazing, girl!  The shading is stunning!!!  Love how you did the hair, too!!

My only suggestion is to like Kayla said make his eyes bigger, and also to pull his nose up a bit and make that a bit bigger, too.

Other than that, it's just...WOW. Very Happy Very Happy

Don't be discouraged about that.  Eyes are just about the hardest part of any portrait. Even really experienced artists don't always get them right.

Drawings! Very Happy

This first one I actually drew a few months ago. White on black again. Razz I've gotten to where I prefer it over white paper unless I'm wanting to do a quick sketch or something.

Spoiler:

And this one. I really like this one.

Spoiler:

Oh for goodness sake's I can't get it to stop turning itself sideways.  :/ Well, hopefully you can see it.

And there's this one.

Spoiler:

Wow that one is turned too. *facepalm* Oh well. Razz
