In what would have been the right and left wing, but LDD crashes too much to add those, so I just cut it down to that. Razz

(pulls jaw up from China)

Wow......     (faints)

wow.....

wow..... (faints)

wow...

wow....

I.... wow.... wow... I... I'm... I'm speechless... almost.... I.... wow.... I'm blown away... this is absolutely SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am flabbergasted!!! dumb-founded... amazed... shocked... I.... wow... this creation is truly worthy of EPIC! AWESOME! and any other overly-used to the point of abuse words that describe... well.... this...

THIRTY-FIVE-STINK'N-THOUSAND PIECES!?!?!?!?!?! And it's not just huge... that eye-popping detail! EVERYWHERE!!! QUANTITY and QUALITY, and both top-notch!!!  You sure you aren't the owner of a supercomputer yourself?!  :PBut seriously.... wow.... I can only get about 20,000 pieces in LDD..... but this.... wow.... the size.... it's SOOOOOOO HUGE!!!!!! The DETAIL!!!!! It's EVERYWHERE!!!!! I mean... EVERYWHERE!!!!! like... EVERYWHERE I turn my eye... there's INCREDIBLE detailing!!!

twenty-six things it lacks, three things only I will complain about as I'm sure you were limited by the capacity of your insanely (cough cough OVERPOWERED  Razz*not jealous at all... maybe  Razz   Razz  Razz  Razz*) computer, and they are:

1) indoor pool
2) gymnasium (basketball court, weights, treadmills, track, etc)
3) bowling ally
4) tennis court
5) stables
6) showroom/garage
7) personal amusement park
8)helicopter landing pad
9) personal race track
10) personal movie theater
11) spa
12) armory
13) basement (some sort of insane hang-out-place)
14) third floor dedicated to bedrooms
15) outer wings
16) downstairs bathroom
17) living/family room
18) office
19 security room
20) staff housing (not part of main building, or in basement)
21 gardens
22) vault (for keeping $$$ stuff)
23) soda bar
24) greenhouse
25) trophy room
26) personal stage/theater
27) laundry room
28) back porch with rocking chairs and checkers (it can't ALL be on a grand scale  Razz  )

However, as any one of these would have probably been (besides the downstairs bathroom, office,  and security room) between 3,000 and 7,000 pieces... I'll let it slide.  Razz  although it really needs the pool, gym, garage, family room, and downstairs bath...  Razz

My THREE complaints would be: One, the pillows in Bob's room... they're just too small. Two, no chandeliers.  Sad  Razz  And three, the studs showing on the desk in his room.  Other than that.... I can find absolutely nothing the least bit.... well... short of perfection, about this ENTIRE MOC!!!!!  Very Happy  Were I judging this... you would have won from the moment I first laid eyes on the first picture.... just wow...

The MASSIVE scale, and the IMMENSE details just make this... well... I want to live here  Razz   But seriously, from plants to alarm clocks, from computers to beds, from soap to dressers, from arcades to boardgames, from chairs to towel racks, from windows to floors.... this place is simply the most amazing LEGO mansion I have yet seen.... Ever consider going into interior decorating?  Razz  You could do it based solely on this!!!  Very Happy

Back when I had time... I was considering entering... now there's no point, my entering the dinky little thing I was thinking of possibly (AKA, not) doing would simply be an insult to this.... I mean it... I'll stick to starships for now  Razz

So uh... you got any other creations you want to share, 'cause you are quite simply an AMAZING building!!!!  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy

(edit) I just looked "mansion" on Brickshelf... and they have NOTHING that even comes CLOSE to this in size or detail..... GREAT work!   Very Happy

It DOES have a living room. Razz

Most of the other things you mentioned were GOING to be added into the left and right wings for the mansion (it was initially going to be about thrice the size it is now), but due to LDD apparently not being able to withstand the large filesize (my computer was perfectly fine with it), I was unable to do what I had initially hoped to do.

I have many other MOCs I've done, I'll upload them soon if you're interested. Razz

Thanks for the compliment on the mansion btw. Razz

Oh really? I couldn't find it in there before... and I want you to add MORE to it....  Razz

Hey, I understand... LDD wasn't built for well... tens of thousands of pieces builds.... oh well.... maybe you could do the other wings separately and edit them into future pics? After all, you did the work, and it is digital, not physical, so with a disclaimer it would be perfectly fair (not for the contest, just for the fun of it  Razz  )

Anyways, YES I want to see more like this!!! Even if they are much, MUCH smaller  Razz

And you are most welcome... I can tell you put dozens and dozens of hours into this... that... or you're the world's fastest builder (or I'm the world's slowest)  Razz

Razz

Very true, I could do that. Razz

Alright. Razz

I've been working on this since the 7th of June and just finished at around 11:30 PM on the 12th of this month. Razz
