I'm not too sure Razz But the one I watched is about this guy who has a wife named Blondie and a little boy named...Dumpling, or something Razz And they're on a budget even though Blondie would love a fur coat Razz So the guy wants to buy her one Razz Even though they're on a budget Razz

It's about the same thing really. A family, the wife Blondie, the dad the kids. It's just about their lives. I don't like them as much as some of the other comics but I read every single comic in the newspaper so….Yeah. Razz

Agreed! Why must TV have some much... of what's on it these days?

I love I Love Lucy, Desi and Lucy Comedy Hour, (a longer version of I Love Lucy that had guest stars) Star Trek: The Original Serious (shame shame for not including it in classic shows Razz ) Andy Griffith, (especially the one's with Barney, the Warren ones were just... annoying) Bonanza Hogan's Hero's, and Twilight Zone. (black and white version, I think there was a revamp or something in color later on)

I also really enjoy Beverly Hillbillies, Dick-Van-Dyke, Gomer Pyle USMC, The Lone Ranger, Lassie, and I'm hopping to find McHale's Navy...

Great topic idea!

And no, I hardly ever read the paper Razz

Any of you guys ever seen "The Night Gallery"? It was somewhat of a sequel show to the Twilight Zone and was made by Rod Serling himself.

However, it is much too paranormal in its focus. Several episodes tamper with the satanic, the demonic, etc., which is not good at all. Personally I think The Night Gallery was an utter failure compared to the Twilight Zone. Plus, The Night Gallery was wrapped up in the psycho-thrill of its time: talk of people hypnotized so well they could die and then resurrect themselves when given the command, weird things like that. Subtly, I think Satan uses plots like that to get people to doubt Christ's resurrection and just about anything else that centers on God by making people think that Biblical writers or witnesses were under hypnosis or something. Of course, hypnosis like that is fictional, but the devil will use anything, real or unreal, to make people doubt the truth.

Anyhow, now that I've finished my narrative, have any of you watched The Night Gallery? There are a handful of episodes that I would recommend, though the names aren't coming to me.

Couple other titles I thought I'd include:
1) Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea
2) The Outer Limits
3) Adam-12

I like an old show called "The Honeymooners". It's a really funny b/w TV show about this couple who lives in a dumpy apartment. The guy is a bus driver and hardly makes much money. And then they have these friends who drive the husband crazy. It's HILARIOUS. You should check it out.

Hey, I've seen a couple episodes of that! Really funny, as I recall. The husband is like super-temperamental! Do you have any DVDs or whole seasons of "The Honeymooners"?

Yep. My Brother LOVES the show. He has a big huge box of the whole set of original shows, and then he has 80 DVDs of the "lost" episodes (episodes that I guess were recorded and lost?). Anyway, my family is a big Honeymooners fan. Razz

TRAITOR! Razz Sorry, but I'm a classic Lone Ranger fan. I'm not going to be watching this theft of a classic. It MIGHT be a funny/interesting movie IN OF ITSELF... but based on what I've seen... it isn't even meant to be ANYTHING like the original.... True, the original had one major setback: the mask. The Lone Ranger was always... well, rather shallow. All we ever saw was the masked man, never the man. But it was sure a fun way to pass some time... Very Happy

TRAITOR? TRAITOR? No you are mistaken! I love the old series, but I do think the movie will be good, sure they may make some differances, but this is early on in the Lone Ranger days, I remember teh epi when he got the mask Razz
